Vocational Training
We offer two different training courses:
- The first is a short course (1 or 2 days) aimed at those wanting to discover or perfect their bread making skills.
- The second is a professional course for bakers, but also aims at those looking for an introduction to the profession; with the possibility of a diploma at the end of it.
(In France) subsidies exist for continuing education for professionals. For those with a salary, contact the CIF (Congés Individuels de Formation); for those looking for work, the AFPE (Actions de Formations Préalables à l'Embauche).

Continuing vocational training activities
Article L900-2 du code du travail
Definition of the domain of vocational education
An idea of the educational activities available, in the domain of continuing professional-training:
- Activities to pre-train and prepare for professional-life. They promote equal access for all to the professional world, by allowing those without work or qualifications,to meet the required level necessary to follow a professional training course.
- Activities to adapt to, and/or develop certain competences. They aim to adapt the worker to his/her post, and to the evolution of the job world, they also aim to help the employee to remain employed and to participate in the development of his/her skills.
- Promotion activities. Their aim is to allow workers to become more qualified.
- Preventative activities. The goal being to prepare and provide for those workers threatened by redundancy,or the need to change posts, in a society where the risk of being inappropriately qualified augments, as techniques and enterprises advance.
- Conversion activities. Aimed at reorientating the unemployed.
- Activities aimed at acquiring, maintaining or developing qualifications. Within an educational framework, the possibility for workers: to have access to cultural studies; to maintain or upgrade their qualifications; to take on responsabilities within an association.
Another possibility in the field of continuing education, are the activities with the sole aim of assessing the level of the employees aquisitions, and thus allowing them to understand their professional and personal capacities, aswell as their aptitudes and motivations. Consequently it enables them to define a work project, or a plan to follow a training course.
Some activites transfer the employees' work experience to a certificate, that is recognised professionally , or to a certificate of qualification figured on a list established by "la commission paritaire nationale de l'emploi",registered in the national repertoire of professional certificates (article L. 335-6 in the "code de l'education").
